I might introduce myself as a generalist who solves challenges in a solution-oriented,
open minded way.
I use any available or useful technology to do so. That said, I
have already had the opportunity to gain experience with at least the following:
For most of my professional life, I have helped business departments implement their requirements for data analysis as well as regulatory reporting, and turn their data into reliable foundations for decision-making.
I deliberately work as a generalist who brings together business requirements, processes and technology instead of narrowing down to a single product or tool. Over more than twenty years of project experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of database, ETL and BI technologies - from Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MariaDB/MySQL and Azure Data Factory, Informatica and SAS DI through to reporting with Power BI, Business Objects and Cognos - on premise or in the cloud.
I use this broad toolbox in a solution-oriented way: the focus is always on the architecture that best fits your environment - whether for building new DWH structures, optimising existing ETL workloads or implementing practical reporting and analytics platforms.
My experience helped me when auditing existing data warehouse architectures as well as when onboarding new developers or train developers in Data Vault.

Implement AI search to help your customers find products even with synonyms or misspellings.
Creating and maintaining high quality web components is hard work. You not only implement the crucial functionality but — for UI components — you also have to make it look nice.
